What is included in my session?
When you arrive you'll be brought up to the massage room and greeted with relaxing music. Your massage will begin for your allotted time. After your session, I will meet you at the bottom of the stairs to go over your session.
Will the massage hurt?
The massage should not be excruciating, however, there may be some areas that are tight and could be uncomfortable to touch. I will check in throughout the session to see how you are doing with pressure.
What if I have skin condition like acne, eczema or forget to shave?
Each case is different but proper precautions may be taken to not spread, or break the skin. There is no harm or expectation for unshaven legs.
What areas are massaged?
The neck, head and face, back, arms and legs, hands and feet, glutes, and upon request, the stomach. Any of these areas can be avoided if desired.
Should I talk during the massage?
It's up to the client (you) however the goal of the massage is to relax the body so you can receive the most benefit from the muscles in a relaxed state.
What if I need to use the bathroom during my massage?
Please don't hesitate to speak up. A full bladder is never enjoyable especially during a massage where pressure and stretching are being used. A robe will be given at the beginning of the session to use if needed.
What if my body makes involuntary noises?
The body's parasympathetic nervous system has been switched on, so stomach rumbles, passing gas, or moaning/sighing may occur and is totally normal and will be ignored.
We're all human.
